BlueStaffy's.co.uk, is dedicated to the staffordshire bull terrier breed and predominatly blue staffordshire bull terriers.

The staffordshire bull terrier or "staffy/staffie" is one of the uk's favourite breed of dog "currently the 4th most popular".

With this in mind it is somewhat vexing as to why some people still believe the staffordshire bull terrier to be an aggresive fighting dog that will eat anything that moves including children.

Nothing could be further from in the truth in reality, the staffordshire bull terrier is commonly known as the "Nanny Dog" because of its gentle nature, loyalty and intelligence and anyone who owns a staffy will tell you how protective they are of children.

True there are some people who aquire a staffy and decide to build it's muscles up with over exercise and make the dog huge and intimidating to look at, they then use the dog to make themselves look big and tough. Fortunatly these people and few and far between, however in a lot of cases it is these people and there dogs that are remembered by the general public. One of the aims of this site is dismiss this perception and show staffy's for the loyal intelligent loving dogs they are.

The other aims of this site is for for staffordshire bull terrier owner's "especially blues" to show of there pride and joy, it is also to allow people to see Blue Oyster Boy, our bue staffordshire bull terrier stud dog. Although blue is our blue staffordshire bull terrier stud dog he is more importantly our pride and joy and much loved family pet.

As you can see from the photo's he is short, well built with an impressive head and structure. Overall he is a stunning example of the breed, but then again we would think that.
